i m so happy and tired today.. cos.. i had done a very good deed.. =) a good deed tat can or may save a life.. i have jus donated blood in school.. =) after lesson, jia jie and went for the donation.. today is the third day for donation.. i heard tat there were lots of donors on the first two days.. well i guess the third day was a little lesser..

first, when we reach, we had to fill in this questionaire.. its really very long man.. 3 pages long.. but all yes or no qns.. lucky.. some of the qns are like.. have u had sex with many partners, have u had sex with prostitude, for guys, have u had sex with other guys, for gals, have u had sex with guys who had sex with other guys? lol..

after seeing the doctor and so on, the next stop is to check for iron.. there is this chemical.. if your blood sinks, there is enough iron.. if it floats, sorry, u r going home.. so jia jie went first.. the nurse poke a hole at the finger tip.. but the blood is nt coming out.. the nurse say he didnt drink enough water.. lol.. we both passed the test.. piece of cake..

then we had to sit in the Q for around an hour for our turn to donate blood.. finally its our turn.. at first after i sit down, the nurse tried to find my vains on my right hand.. they say cannot find.. then try my left hand.. lucky can find.. if nt, i m going home too.. haha..

first the nurse injected the watever u called it, the thing to make ur muscles numb.. after tat i nv feel anything from my arm again.. lol.. the nurse poke the needle into my arm.. i didnt even know it was in my arm.. thats where the whole process started.. the blood kept coming out.. it sucked about 450ml of blood.. after 5 to 10 mins, i m done.. haha..

so for today, i m very very very happy.. and tired.. as after donating, u feel relatively weak.. no aggressive sports for me till tmr.. so i guess i better take a good rest.. the next time i can donate blood is on 2nd august.. i will be looking forward for my second donation.. =)
